Accessibility statement

This statement was last reviewed on 17 December 2024

This accessibility statement applies to www.greenwich0to4.co.uk

This website is run by Bromley Healthcare CIC. It includes information about the Greenwich 0 to 4 Health Visiting Service and advice and support for parents, carers and families.

Bromley Healthcare is committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. That means you should be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).

We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand, and you can navigate most of the website using just a keyboard.

AbilityNet has advice on making your phone, computer or tablet easier to use, depending on your needs.

Accessibility Toolbar

Located at the bottom of every page is our accessibility toolbar, labelled 'Show accessibility tools' which toggles to ‘Hide accessibility tools’ to stop it from being visible.

Click on the toolbar to view various accessible options, including:

  • Text size
  • Contrast
  • Google translate (we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the translation).

Compliance

This website is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard.

This statement is based on:

  • Technical assessment of the website content management system (CMS), design, layout, navigation and functionality by Frank, our website developers.
  • Self-assessment of website content (including images and documents) by Bromley Healthcare Communications Team.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

  • Some PDF documents, such as meeting board papers, are not fully accessible to screen reader software
  • Embedded videos do not have captions or transcripts.
PDFs and other documents

Documents such as our Trust Board papers contain hundreds of pages including images, tables and charts, making them difficult to make fully accessible or convert to HTML web pages.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. However, if there is a specific document that you would like to request in HTML format we will do our best to oblige where possible and practicable, please email: bromh.comms@nhs.net

Videos

We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

Feedback and contact information

We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website.

If you find any problems or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please email: bromh.comms@nhs.net, where your email will be picked up and responded to by the Communications team.

If you need information on this website in a different format like an accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or Braille, please email: bromh.comms@nhs.net.
