If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, we are able to offer advice, support, and practical strategies to use at home. This could be to support your child’s speech, physical development, behaviour, diet, or well-being. Where needed and with your consent, the Health visiting team can make referrals to specialist services. These include Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Audiology, and Community Paediatricians. It is important to remember that each service has its own criteria for referral and there can be considerable waiting times.
